The cabin is located at:
6984 County Road 344
Navasota, TX 77868
You can search for "Whispering Pines Cabin" in Google/Apple Maps, or use the links below to enter your departing location for detailed driving directions.
Please note that we are in a very rural area and if you are arriving at night, it will be VERY dark. The cabin is on the right-hand side of CR 344 (a dead end) and will have a bright street number reflector ("6984") on the mailbox post. When you see the mailbox reflectors, you should see the cabin on the right. There is a very bright light in the front yard and another light on the cabin porch. If you make a sharp left curve and/or get to the dead end, you've gone too far.
Call us at (832) 390-1570 if you have any issues finding us.
Your 4-digit passcode to the front gate will be emailed to you on your day of arrival.
To enter the property, enter the 4-digit passcode on the keypad, then press the "#" key. The gate will open immediately and close behind you after 30 seconds. If for some reason this doesn't work, wait 15 seconds and try again.
Once you enter the property, drive approximately 100 feet and the cabin is on the right. You can park in the spot directly in front of the cabin. If you happen to be towing a trailer, feel free to drive into the Owner's area to turn around. Please do not block the road when parking. If you need to, you're welcome to park in the owner's area when there is more room. Please let us know if you'd like to do this.
When exiting the property, drive slowly up to the gate and it will open automatically after detecting your vehicle. Please leave ample room for the gate to open so it does not hit your vehicle.
Note: Should you have any issues, please contact Dave at (832) 390-1570, as we can open the gate remotely. We also have a manual way to open and unlock the gate if necessary. Please do not attempt to open the gate manually, or climb over the gate/fence.
Please park only in the space provided in front of the cabin. Should you need additional space (e.g., towing a trailer), please contact Dave at (832) 390-1570 to figure out a solution. Please do not drive your vehicle in the grass.
Your 4-digit passcode to the front door will be emailed to you on your day of arrival.
To enter the cabin, enter the passcode on the keypad, then press the "Unlock" symbol (bottom right button). The deadbolt on the lock will be unlocked.
To lock the door, close the door and hit the "Lock" button (bottom left button). No passcode is required to lock. If you enter the code and hit Lock, the lock will fail and you'll hear a series of beeps that indicates a problem. If this occurs, open/close the door and try again using only the lock button.
Do not lock the small lock on the door handle. This requires a manual key to open. If you do lock this lock, you will have to contact me to walk you through it.
Note: Should you have any issues, please contact Dave at (832) 390-1570, as we can open the deadbolt remotely. We also have manual keys available in a manual lockbox on the side of the cabin if needed.
There are complimentary snacks and cold waters available when you arrive. Enjoy!
